Traditional Cremation Service
There are four aspects of a Traditional Cremation service. A viewing or visitation may take place at the funeral home, church, or at a person's home. At the conclusion of the funeral service the deceased is transferred to our crematorium for the cremation process. The cremated remains are then cared for following your wish of disposition.
Memorial Service / Celebration of Life
For this service the cremation usually takes place prior to the service. Therefore, the physical body is not present at the service. A Memorial Service will follow. The cremated remains can be present at the service in a selected urn. The cremated remains are then cared for as to your wish of disposition.
Direct Cremation
With these arrangements, cremation will take place without a ceremony. The remains are then cared for as to your wish of disposition.
Cremation
Choosing memorialization offers a lasting picture to remember a loved one. There are three common options of memorialization. You may wish to have a visible reminder kept close and choose an urn for a shelf in your home or even for burial in your garden. Your may have a family burial plot where you may place the cremated remains. Releasing the cremated remains by scattering is also another option. You may choose to place a special memorial bench or statuary in a garden near this area.
If desired you may choose a rental casket for a visitation service. The oak shell of the casket is not cremated with the body, which is placed into the inner liner.
Cremation caskets are constructed specifically for cremation.
At a memorial service, the urn is the important focal point. After the service, the urn can be buried, placed in a niche at a mausoleum or kept at home. We are pleased to assist you in selecting an urn that reflects something about the life of your loved one.
We are pleased to offer unique products to contain the cremated remains. Earth Friendly and Bio-Degradable choices are very popular. We also provide a selection of Scattering urns.
